Gelido Album released! + Other news!

Hey everyone! Hope you had a fantastic holiday period! Best of luck and love from the Communications Records Team! In other good news, Gelido’s ambient album has been released onto bandcamp so go and grab a copy if you can be bothered! In other news, Nick Forrest has compiled a set of his best tracks of 2012 and is releasing them for free (set your own price) on our bandcamp so make sure you check them out! Finally, we will be releasing our first 12″ early this year so keep posted! Oh! and cant forget, a label launch warehouse party is coming around February, more info soon

Hey guys, got some really exciting news! Our first cassette tape release is coming out in the next month or so!

Coming courtesy of Gelido from Melbourne, it is a full length album named “Crendendo Stronzate”.

Credendo Stronzate is an album focusing on ambient and eiry soundscapes of a moody nature. It is mainly a solo instrument album focusing heavily on Piano. Other Acoustic instruments include Guitar, Bass, Kip, Sitar, Egg Shaking, Table Taping and Whistling . Field Recordings, Tape sampling and other electronic manipulations were also made

Limited to 50 Hand Painted Casette Tapes.

At $5 each its a bargain, be sure to get one quick before they sell out, we will not be doing a re-release.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! 3 of the Communications Boys were out in Newtown on the weekend playing a bit of disco, electro swing and house and as far as I know it went well

Got some good news for everyone!

Nick Forrest just locked in a 10″ release with us (due towards the end of October) called “No Pleasure EP” (LIMITED RUN 15 Copies 10″ CLEAR BLUE VINYL)
In lead up to this EP, will be releasing a range of Nicks unreleased music so keep your eyes on this page.

As well as the debut of Nick Forrest’s Improvisational Disco Band and Orchestra, an improvised hour of disco jams featuring material from the “Make it Not Fake it EP” as well as fresh material performed as live as possible featuring live hardware (microkorg, x0xb0x) and the rest arranged and composed on the fly, no pre-arrangement, completely improvised.
